Before working with 50+ Fitness For Men, I was focused on staying lean, doing HIIT and cardio five days a week while maintaining a daily intake of 1,900 calories. I believed that being fit meant having a six-pack. However, when I joined their Facebook group, my goal shifted to becoming more defined, and they suggested that I needed to build muscle.

This was a tough concept to grasp after years of staying lean, especially knowing I’d have to increase my caloric intake by 500 calories and cut back on cardio. They designed a workout plan for me through the My Online Fitness Coach app, which seemed too simple at first—3 sets of 12 reps for a few exercises per body part, much less than what I was used to.

Three months later, I’ve gained about 6 pounds of muscle. Friends and family have noticed the difference, and my clothes now fit tighter, especially around my arms, shoulders, and legs. I haven’t gained any inches around my waist, which was a concern for me. I can also see more muscle definition, particularly in my traps, shoulders, and back.I learned about progressive overload—pushing myself to failure and aiming to improve with every workout. This method, along with training harder and smarter, made all the difference. I also started using creatine, which significantly boosted my strength and muscle growth.

I’m thrilled with the progress I’ve made in the last three months, and I can’t wait to see how my body continues to transform. I highly recommend 50+ Fitness For Men for anyone looking to change their physique. Their knowledge, support, and encouragement have made a massive impact on my fitness journey.

Eytan Benson

Twenty years’ experience delivering exercise programmes to help men over fifty overhaul their health & fitness, using a combination of tailored exercise programmes and nutrition coaching. My passion is fitness, and I enjoy coaching my clients to transform their life through exercise. Completing my BSc (Hons) Degree in Sport and exercise science gave me the knowledge and experience to guide you to achieve your fitness goals successfully. I specialise in strength and body conditioning and sports specific coaching. Personal achievements include British Olympic weightlifting champion (2012)
